Accreditation and documentation

IGENA is an example of the highest safety guarantee due to its quality standards and the most rigorous manufacturing controls throughout the production process of our life lines.

All our vertical lifeline anchoring devices comply with EN 795:2012 Type A and CEN/TS 16416 technical instruction for multiple users and our vertical lifelines comply with the latest current standard EN 353.1:2014 + A1 :2017, according to the CE type examination certificate issued by the notified laboratory APAVE CE 0082, in addition to the new European Regulation 2016/425.

All lines are referenced with a manufacturing serial number that identifies its components at all times and provides traceability throughout its useful life. This same serial number is indicated in the following parts:

In addition to detailing this serial number in all documentation (invoice, delivery note, etc...), with the supply of materials, it is detailed:

  1. The lifeline number on the outside of each box
  2. Scheme and detailed list of the material that makes up each numbered lifeline (Packing List).

The manufacturer's instructions (technical dossier of the line) include:

  1. Copy essay certifications
  2. Assembly sheet (in technical dossier to be completed by the installer)
  3. Revision sheets (see technical dossier)

Signage and marking

The sliding fall arresters (fall arrester carts) are delivered with their corresponding documentation in the bag and are marked with their personalized serial number and marking according to regulations.
